Antwerp, city trip.

Last week i visited Antwerp, Belgium for 5 days with my girlfriend. We first had plans to go to Italy this summer but we didn't have enough time to book it for a good price so we decided to make a couple of city trips this summer. 

We had a beautiful apartment in the middle of Antwerp centre. The first day we went out for shopping and look around for some nice bars and restaurants where we could eat and drink for the next days. We visited a very nice cocktailbar that evening named: Brasserie Appelmans. We ordered on the Bartender's recommendation a Moschino and a Dark & Horny, they where absolutely delicious!

The day after we went sightseeing through Antwerp. I was really surprised how beautiful and historic this city was. Like i said we first had plans to plan a trip to Italy, it felt a little bit like Italy though. The Photo i took here as you can see below speaks more than 1000 words. 

We stopped at a Cupcake store named MoMade where we both where drooling in front of the window, it was so beautiful we couldn't resist to buy a cupcake here. 

I'm a fan of modern architecture and i have to say Antwerp has much to offer in this field. Below is a sneak peak showed of a little detail from a old historic building that was renovated.

After all i had a really great time with my girlfriend in this Belgium town, if you want to know some more addresses or tips if you want to visit Antwerp, don't be afraid to ask, i don't bite! :-p
